GRF (1-29) is a peptide which is also known as Spartan-1 and or Sermorelin. It is a fully functional part of GHRH and belongs to its amino acid chain. It lies on the positions 1-29 of the chain. It mimics the natural Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone. Due to the modifications made Spartan-1 is more resistant to enzymatic cleavage and is more efficient in stimulating Growth Hormone production than GHRH itself.
